ATTORNEY-AT-LAW
Leon Ribič, LL.M.
After completing his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana and his LL.M. studies in Vienna, he started his professional career as a legal advisor to financial institutions. In the environment of an international law firm in Vienna, he advised on banking and private equity transactions, as well as on commercial matters in the area of South-Eastern Europe. After returning to Slovenia in 2018, he gained experience at the Ljubljana Higher Court, where he worked mainly in the area of civil law, and at the Higher Labour and Social Court, where he dealt with labour disputes.
After working in a commercial law firm in Ljubljana, where he worked mainly in the field of company and civil law, he decided to become an independent attorney-at-law (odvetnik) in 2024.
His practice focuses on company law (including M&A), employment law, financial law and general civil law. In addition to his experience in the Slovenian market, both domestic and foreign clients value his experience in cross-border matters where the specifics of several jurisdictions need to be taken into account.
Leon is also a certified interpreter for German.
