NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Leon Ribič, odvetnik, holds and manages the personal data you have provided above, which is necessary for the effective processing of your request or communication and for the effective communication with you.

The data will be used for the following processing purposes: (i) communication with the client, e.g. to inform you of the progress of proceedings, to send you invoices, etc. (name, surname, telephone and e-mail, status of outstanding debts, specifications of services rendered, tax no.) and (ii) performance of contractual obligations, such as advice and representation in relation to other persons and authorities (name, surname, personal identification number (EMŠO), etc., depending on the facts and circumstances of the case in which any authorisation is given).

In accordance with the legislation governing the legal profession, the data shall be kept for five years after the end of the representation of the client or for as long as required by accounting or other sectoral regulations.

The data may be disclosed to public authorities and other controllers for the fulfilment of their legal obligations or powers and on the basis of legitimate interests (e.g. in the case of the provision of legal services, for the maintenance of the business network, the recovery of claims, etc.).

You may withdraw your consent in writing at any time by e-mail or at the address of the Ribič law office, without affecting the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the withdrawal. You also have the right to request, in writing, by e-mail or at the address of the Ribič law office, the access to, the completion, the rectification, the blocking or the restriction of the processing or erasure of personal data, to object the processing of data concerning you and to request the transfer of your data.

If you consider that your personal data is stored or otherwise processed in breach of the applicable rules governing the protection of personal data, you may lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec).
